i think its great, my brother met his wife online. i think its not for teens but adults can find great people on there. i think its safe as long as you are safe about it. if you meet in a public place then you should be fine. also with webcams you can see if that person in the pic they sent you is really that person.

also i noticed on here when some one has a question about online dating, every one attacks them and says they should stop now, well what if they did stop but the person they were talking to was the person they were suppose to spend the rest of there life with?????

I think on-line dating is another plausible means of meeting people in the modern age. All the normal rules-of-thumb of dating applies plus one needs to be extra careful. Despite many horror stories, there are many successful ones.

I think online dating sucks. I met one guy who was a cheap son-of-a-***** even though he made more than 1 million a year he wanted to take the receipt for the breakfast I bought at IHOP so he could claim it on his taxes. I met another guy who wasn't so cheap (sent me roses on Valentines Day) but then CHEATED on me with some ONLINE WHORE!!! Online dating is only good for the people who have stock or created it.
Am I jaded?

u know to meet people on line it's like meet people in real life, but the different is the way, and the communicate... i am agree that in on line u see variety of people... and why people afraid from the chat... because the fears from on line the same fear in real life, who is someone play with u or lie at u... so why people scare from the on line...u know why because they don't know the reality of it...
and it's the life everything change... but because some people use it in bad way, they have a stereo type about it...
