i have a hard time washing my own hair, no matter what i do i can not get all of the soap out of my hair and i wash it in the shower. is it a way i can tell if all the soap is out of my hair when i can not see

run your fingers through your hair and see if you have any residue on your fingers.

You should be able to feel the "suds" from the shampoo and know that you have not rinsed it all out. Perhaps you are using too much shampoo. Try cutting back and I would thing less would not be as hard to rinse out. Also if you condition after shampooing you should be able to get any residue of shampoo when rinsing the conditioner out. However, if you still have no luck then I you could always try washing your hair seperately from your shower, like in the bathroom sink or if that is too small the kitchen sink, or kneeling over the tub after you complete your shower. Your shower head could possibly be set to a setting that makes it seem that you still have soap in your hair when actually it is just water. If your shower head has adjustable settings try setting to another setting while you wash your hair. If you do not have an adjustable shower head you might want to check it for build up and clean it with something like CLR to clear away any build up that may be dispersing something besides water while you shower. Your shower head can get clogged with anything from lime buildup, soap scum, or any other products such as cleaners etc. You have to remove it and immerse it in a cleanser to remove these elements from the waterways. This might solve your problem. Hope this helped.

The trick is even when you think all the shampoo is out of your hair keep washing for another five minutes to make sure if you leave the shampoo in your hair then your hair will need to be washed the next day because it won't look like you've cleaned it at all.

maybe your using to much shampoo or you do not rinse long enough but you can also check by running your hands through your hair
