37 is not old, you are a spring chicken still....next time they tell you you're too old to have long hair, reply back with, geez your too old to be making comments like that !!! or something like that, Your hair , your choice, I think they are very rude and should be put in their place. U cut it when you want I'm 32 and my hairs about the same length as yours..and I plan on having long hair at least another 20 yrs. Cheers!

My God! This advice is from the fifties! Many women look better with long hair, at any age. Others have the face for short hair. It also depends on your body and proportions - but not on your age! If you are not sure, go to a great stylist and get a consultation.

But let nobody push you - hair is such a personal thing and you should decide!

If you feel good in your hair wear it! At 37 you are still quite young. If you change your hairstyle you might look middle aged. Wait until they reach your age and their kids tell them to have shoulder length hair!

You're never too old! It's ridiculous the things that so many people say to others with long hair -- of ALL ages. Personally, I think people who want us to change our long hair because of age/fashion/whatever are maybe a little jealous? Who knows. Anyway, it is your hair, you should wear it to make YOU happy, not anyone else! ;)

Never too old. As long as it is in good condition and a nice style, I don't see the problem. I bet the people who tell you you are too old for long hair are just jealous or old fashioned in their views! Ignore them and be how you want to be. Why change to please others, it will just end up making you miserable and those people who criticise you about your hair are the kind of people who will find something else to criticise you about, guaranteed.

Take care : )

it's your hair....forget about them, i too am 37 and my hair is to my butt, and layered every so softly around my face...my family loves it, my nieces play with it...and the salon loves to cut just a little at a time. Do what you like...please yourself...not them.

People of any age can have hair at any length they choose. If it suits you, don't worry about what others say.

I would have to say that shorter hair (not super short, just not that long) looks more sleek and sophisticated, so I tend to agree with them. But if you're happy with your hair, don't let their opinions persuade you.

no matter what they said is depend on what you wear and what kind of your hair type thin medium or thicker hair, if you have medium and thicker hair should be need layer so you can see your hair more texture and easy to do by yourself dry them faster
POINT IS WHAT YOU NEED
