I drank a fifth of vodka just now, and my head is spinning a bit, and I was just wondering why things spin counterclockwise. Is there a reason?

This depends on which hemisphere you are in. If you just drank a fifth of vodka this will make sense to you.

Only feels that way, unless of course you're possessed and then, watch out Linda Blair!!!! Seriously, after downing a fifth of Vodka, I'd seriously be concerned about alcohol poisoning and give your local hospital or poison control unit a call. When you finally get sober, unless you're dead first from alcohol poisoning, you might ask yourself if you have a drinking problem and then get some help!
