If I can be allowed to delete the last but one word (the), the answer COULD be that they don't smoke.

And, for an amusing story: In South Africa they are breeding tigers alongside lions in a wildlife park to the north of Jo'burg. Seeing tiny tiger and lion cubs together was a little unusual and well worth a photo, in my view. However, the wire mesh fence rather spoilt it so I thought that, if I leaned over the top, I would get a better and unhindered shot. This is when I discovered wildlife photography Rule Number 1:
"When taking wildlife photos, under NO CIRCUMSTANCES WHATSOEVER put your head on the electric fence."
It was like having a general anaesthetic!

You should visit the Lion & Tiger Mingling Reserve in Tongass National Forest.

well actually I caught a lion and a tiger and took them to the new forrest, they met up, had a spot of lunch and then went for a brisk walk.
They still keep in touch with msn I believe

There are lots of little Ligers and Tigons around to show that they do meet sometimes!
