LUKE & the correct quote is (King James Version): Luke 6-31 "And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise".
MODERN VERSION:
"Do to others as you would have them do to you". And it is Luke 6-31

It's true that Jesus Christ said it, but he was quoting the Old Testament; like a lot of other Jewish boys, he grew up studying it.
