having trouble with your homework, pumpkin?
to answer your question, leadership ability is much more important that leadership status. Just because you have "educational attainment" it does not mean you are qualified to lead. Some people have that gift in them.
Some people have educational attainment (whatever that means) and have leadership status and they have absolutely no clue what they are doing.
As for examples, you will need to research that yourself.
Oh, and as for your cute little thing about happiness.
My happiness is not in your hands. ;)

A degree doesn't always mean you are educated. I know a man who graduated with a four-year degree - but he is incompetant in management.

There are many people throughout history who were thought to be unteachable according to the teacher's standards. Benjamin Franklin was kicked out of school because the teachers said he couldn't learn math. He eventually taught himself math and many other wonderful things. The teachers thought Albert Einstein was retarded and refused instruction - so his parents taught him at home. There are other examples of self-taught individuals, but those are two that come to my mind.

However, as far as being well-educated - whether you have a diploma or degree or are self-taught - I think education has a very great bearing on good leadership. I'm not putting college down, because I'm all for it - but I just think that having a degree doesn't always reflect one's knowledge, and that one can also be well-educated without a degree. I think good leaders are the ones who apply wisdom along with their knowledge.

I don't think that your educational status effects leadership. I am in an award winning asb, and some of the best kids in the asb are not that bright. If you want an example of a leader it would be anyone who stands up for what they believe in and can lead.
