I'm 23 and still a virgin (by choice). I’m very picky & don’t want to have sex until I feel really comfortable w/ someone esp b/c I know I’ll get very attached. Everyone around me is very sexual and assumes I am too. Very few know I’m a virgin b/c I don’t want them to assume things about me based on one fact. I am pretty flirty & sexual & really enjoy all the foreplay but guys tend to be surprised when I tell them we won't be having sex (b/c "I don't have casual sex," I say). I also don’t want to perform oral on anyone I don’t really care about.
I don’t know what to do to be able to still have fun “fooling around” without sex, oral or blue balls and still make it interesting. Just because I won’t have sex doesn’t mean I’m not super sexual. I rarely get off when guys try to finger though b/c it usually hurts (even w/ lube). Any suggestions? Also, how do guys react to finding out girls are virgins?

However, I even get "bored" and want things to be more interesting. I'm not trying to figure this stuff out for a guy, but more for myself.

The best thing I can tell you is to relax. (That is from person experience.) And never feel pressured into doing ANYTHING if you are not comfortable doing it. Also, it helps to give the person who is pleasuring you some advice. (How to touch you, the speed they should go at, to the left, to the right, etc.) After all, if you're not going to work a little bit to to ensure your own pleasure, why should that person put all that much into it?
P.S. Guys are different, and will respond to your being a virgin differently. Don't let anyone pressure you! And if they're not cool with who you are and choose to be, they're not worth your time anyway.

wow! for a minute, i thought you were a gay man... my apologies for that. guess i know more virgin male than females. first, i gotta say, if a guy gets blue balls, it is by choice. DO not feel sorry for him, he could masturbate in the shower for example. you must realize the accusations that will arise from not having intercourse after foreplay? i wont go there. i think it is awesome that you are a virgin. oh, and if finger hurts, one of two things i can think of, they are either too rough, or you have health issues. i would be honored to know you, but you may have problems finding someone who understands you in your "crowd", and may need to find a different one to succeed at your goal. good luck!

I dunno, my girlfriend is a virgin and I respect that, i'm not pressuring her into anything. I guess different guys will take the news different ways.
Like its been said, don't let someone make you feel like you have to do something you don't want to. Do your own thing and if it's not good enough for them then they're not worth the trouble.

I would not worry about it. You are becoming mature and many who do differently will have some severe problems after having been promiscuous when quite young. It is tough I know, but stick to your guns. It is your own business and no one else's.
