If it was stolen, you only need to pay around 50 dollars. I have heard some people say they can push it up to 200 but I am not sure about that. Mine was stolen once and I didn't have to pay anything.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY THE FULL AMOUNT IF YOU REPORTED IT! DON'T LET THE BANK SCREW YOU AROUND!

Some dishonest places may try to see if they can trick you into paying so they don't lose out, and if thats the case, don't do buisiness with them anymore once everything is settled. I'd probably talk to the Better Buisiness Bureau, too, if they are doing that. Be firm or get legal help if you need to, they will usually back off then.

Talk to the police. Suprisingly, the suspect can be caught because a detective can check the places it got used at and get a description of the suspect, or video footage of him using it.

Also, check your credit later to see if the bank tried to post anything derogatory. You can sue them in that case. They can't do that.

YOU DO HAVE RIGHTS

I work for a bank, and when customers call in to report fraudulent charges, 99% of the time the customer doesn't have to pay a dime. The banks will/should investigate every aspect of these charges... from checking your previous transaction history to checking for security cameras to see if you made the charges or not. I say don't give up and be stubborn about it with them.

You should make sure your identity has not been stolen or compromised as well. Be sure to check your statements and see what types of transactions took place. And if I were you I would be checking all my accounts for irregular activity. They can actually use one line of credit to apply for another. Good luck, but be aggressive, it could get worse.

If you can prove your card was stolen then you should not make any payments towards it that you didn't acrue.

a confused question there.

Ask your bank....or credit card company...
only responsible for first 50 dollars if someone stole or used your card thru fraud....and you reported it...
If its your use you owe..
