There are many. I love archeology, and search for these. All you have to do is look on line under the subject, and it has many references to that time period. What about the Dead Sea Scrolls? That might be a good place to start... Also, I recommend the book written by Werner Keller "The Bible as History." Has factual information on documents found, excavations, etc etc.

Hello??? Most of history is over 99.9% unprovable b/c we have no records of it happening. We have less than .05% of dinosaur fossils etc and the only documents we have from the time period of Christ are the writings and rewritings of the testaments in the Bible. Even if we truly knew where Christ was buried, there wouldn't actually be any evidence of him being there b/c he was resurrected. And lets say we found the remains of John the baptist, how would we know it was him even if we found his remains? Ben Franklin for example or Uncle Sam, the only resources we have to "prove" these people actually existed are documents and perhaps a grave stone. I happen to live near Uncle Sam's grave stone and have visited the site in Oakwood cemetery in New York. Does that prove he was alive though, absolutely not. I rely on the evidence. There is much factual evidence that the Bible is a truthful document and there is much evidence insisting that Ben Franklin and Uncle Sam were real being also. Just because I cant prove it doesnt mean it isnt true.

The Bible's accuracy and reliability have been proved and verified over and over again by archaeological finds produced by both believing and no believing scholars and scientists. This included verification for numerous customs, places, names, and events mentioned in the Bible.
One among many examples is the fact that for many years the existence of the Hittites (a powerful people who lived during the time of Abraham) was questioned because no archaeological digs had uncovered anything about them. Critics claimed the Hittites were pure myth. But today the critics are silenced. Abundant archaeological evidence for the existence of the Hittites during the time of Abraham has been uncovered.

Dan is right about the sediment. For we have found thousands of trees all over the earth that are buried and petrified and are through many layers of earth. and each layer they claim as thousands of years. how can a tree grow through 16,000 years of earth?

a tree, a tooth, etc will become petrifed in water within 1 year, most assume it takes many hundreds, it doesn't.

Take a jar and fill it with dirt, sand, etc about half way and put water in it, shake it up and then let it settle, you will see layers just like earth.

plus explain how a fossil forms. why do we have all these fossiles of animals from long ago but none recent? how did they get preserved in complete form? wouldn't animals scatter their bones while they ate them? How can a soft tissue animal like a jelly fish leave a fossil imprint? would it not decay long before it ever got covered? Only a flood that stirs up the dirt that later settles can encase soft tissue and full animals to later to be found as fossils.

cause we clearly know that when something dies, if on earth or buried, it decays away to dust, nothing. so again, how do you get a fossil? only way, encase it in mud that later dries due to pressure, in turn fossilizing it (petrifiing it).

Kent Hovind has a good 7 part series but a few hit the dinosaurs, age of earth topics and he is an ex school teacher, so no preaching, just facts. his videos can be found on youtube and google.

Towel of Babel is a fact we have today and is in the bible.

I dont know much about these studies. But Genesis 1 shows that God created sun, food, etc.. everything and then created man. God should have really known that human needs everthing before He created.
But I have seen many pictures showing remain of Noah's ark. In India, in our place (chennai) there is a St.Thomas church which has a bone piece of Thomas(the disciple of Jesus). he was killed in India they say. There are also much evidence that Jesus existed as there are many things in Israel which tells that, and this clearly shows that bible(new testament is true).
And personally, I have felt God's presence, the Holy Spirit which Jesus said we would recieve, and so I am very very sure.

You probably won't go for this, but there was a volcano (I forgot the name, sorry) and when it erupted, it caused a miniature tidal wave from the surrounding lakes and rivers, and caused the sediment to be layered. Scientists said that if they did not know any better, then they would have said they would have thought that the layers would have suggested many millions of years worth of sediment. If a volcano did that, just imagine what the great flood would have done.

Do you need evidence to believe you do not have to .
I don't think that people will try to find something to prove you .

I extremely doubt it. And the shows on the history channel don't prove God exist. They only prove people believed God existed back then too.
