what do you guys think about blonde or red highlights? i have med-dark brown hair that is wavy and a little frizzy but i straighten it..i have light-medium skin, but im tanning to get med. color skin...what color highlights should i get?

i was the same way. but, started out with red highlights and lowlights. it worked wonderfully with my complexion. now im a full red head!, the blonde is way too over-rated. try something different for this summer.
watch out, red gets addicting :D

Red highlights look really good on dark hair and drastic. I mean in good way and you kind of stand out. Blonde highlights might not work for dark hair and wont give you 'that standing out' look.
If you are into coloring, you should go to a hair expert who can tell you which color would match your skin tone. Changing your hair color is way drastic if you haven't done it before. Its always preferred to change your color to a lighter color because when you go for dark colors, its kind of difficult to color it again.

Do the red highlights much better than the blonde color. the guys will love it.

I think the red would look great with your darker skin. too many people get the same blonde highlights. I think you will stand out more this way and you will get more compliments. Thats why i get my hair done anyway ;p Ne ways as for the frizz, have you tried frizz ease? Works great in my hair, maybe it will help you. Jes

Most guys like the blonde highlights,but red hair is by far,the
most loved color by men and women.It depends on the shades.

i would imagine that blonde highlights would look better than red but if you go solid color definently red, as i am a natural, they say blondes have all the fun, i beg to differ, ha ha ha (smile).

i'd get light red highlights with copper highlights that would suit your skin tone to !

i think highlights give the hair more shinny fresh style and look you can chose highlights that is lighter than your hair color by 3 degres and other by 4 degres it will give natural color that gives you new style and look

Go for a red... try auburn.
