How do we pray?
Through silent meditation or through a scripted verbal blabbering?

What is the intention of the prayer?
Self motivation or God's will?

The answers of prayer....can only be within the context of the greater good for all.

I agree! I accept the wisdom of the Higher Power!!

Speaking of answers to our prayers, God does always. its just that if he says no, you would misinterpret it for not answering your prayer.
Speaking of questioning God, if you would really understand it, and dig deeper, 'questioning God' is really a weakness in faith. Beleieving God is either 1 or 0, to believe or not. It's like referring to a person who is 'pregnant' there is no such this as 'sort of pregnant' and likely there will be no such thing as 'sort of believing in God'

Accepting the wisdom behind his answer is optional, it is because that whether what you ask for or not, there will be an answer. If you are not likened to accept his answer, it's still up to you, God has given us free will to do so.

Often times when we question the choices made by God, we get a better understanding of ourselves and the situations which could and would have been

by praying, you ask for intervention which is in the best interest of you and the rest of the world, despite differences of creed, race, beliefs and ethnicity. We are selfish to think that by prayer, we will get what we want. But God chooses carefully which to grant and how to grant it in order to keep the wheels of destiny and balance in motion.

cheers

What could make a person’s prayers unacceptable to God?

Matt. 6:5: “When you pray, you must not be as the hypocrites; because they like to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the broad ways to be visible to men. Truly I say to you, They are having their reward in full.” (Also Luke 18:9-14)

Matt. 6:7: “When praying, do not say the same things over and over again, just as the people of the nations do, for they imagine they will get a hearing for their use of many words.”

Prov. 28:9: “He that is turning his ear away from hearing the law [of God]—even his prayer is something detestable.”

Mic. 3:4: “At that time they will call to Jehovah for aid, but he will not answer them. And he will conceal his face from them in that time, according as they committed badness in their dealings.”

Jas. 4:3: “You do ask, and yet you do not receive, because you are asking for a wrong purpose, that you may expend it upon your cravings for sensual pleasure.”

There is no need for us to question Him or HIs wisdom...

God will always give the BEST to those who leave the choice to Him..

When we say a Prayer,
there is 3 possible answers God will say...

it is either Yes, No or Wait...
This is what i always believe! :)

Cos His Word promised us that whoever pray, BELIEVING, they shall received....

Trust Him with all your heart, He love us and he surely wants the best for us!

=)

In my experience- God doesn't care, or he's asleep, or given up on our worthless rears.

I have seen things that have shattered my will, seen them at an early age, and wondered why. Because of what I have seen I have gone from a faithful to a tested beyond caring about his worthless rear.

We have each other, we tend to one another, and in the end he will look up from his book and go- "whow, did I nod off?"

Become a good person- care for others and don't just talk about it, have faith in yourself, work to better the world, be safe, and believe that you can make a difference, don't just pray for it.

No, I don't question God's wisdom. Sometimes unanswered prayers is the right answer. The Good Lord knows what's best for us.

James said if any lack wisdom let him ask of God that giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not.I know that God knows why and sometimes I understand later after I have leaned not to my own understanding. No matter what, when, why or how God is for me not against me. I trust him even if his answer isn't what I wanted to hear.

precisely your best option. God isn't a merchandising gadget. he will grant our petition on condition that it extremely is asked for to earnings His Kingdom. If it grow to be carried out the way that we theory, what Glory might there be for God? we'd quickly think of that He grow to be no longer even in touch. as quickly as we ask for something, it extremely is going to likely be carried out in a fashion that throughout basic terms God can gain this as that it may glorify Him!

I don't believe that God is omnipotence or omniscience. You are limiting God when you say that. God cannot be forced into man-made conceptions. God is who he is, and that may or may not be your conception.
