all my kids, ages 8,4, and 20 month twins, still use tear free shampoo. The older two use "kids" shampoo while I still get baby shampoo for the twins. Honestly, it's because of the handy pump on a bottle of Johnson and Johnson's head to toe wash!

I say, once they're old enough to wash their own hair you can switch, if you want to.

My husband is in the Army, and like to take baby shampoo with him to the feild. He saids he can use it for everything, washing his hair, his face....ect. and only has to carry the one bottle.

You can continue to use the baby products until 5 years old. I stopped using the baby powder after my kids were potty trained. I used the baby shampoos, till they reached 5, and the baby lotions and oils. sometimes we still use the baby oils, and lotions because they smell so good.

Ideally one is never too old to use baby products like baby shampoos or powders infact they are the best to be used even for adults since they are mild and chemical -free and they do not hurt your skin.

So go ahead and pamper your baby's skin/hair and of course your's too !!!!!

I think up to 5 years the baby products are good because their skin is very soft and sensative.

I don't think there is a specific age you have to quit using them. I suppose if your child is old enough to complain to you that he/she doesn't want to be treated like a baby, then it's time to switch to something else.
