I met this girl through Yahoo Answers and we chat on the phone and txt and Email, but I feel she is using me as a kind of "escape" from her rocky marriage.
She says she wants to meet up and have a drink, maybe more, but she is in love with someone else. The question is should I just leave her to it or should I meet with her and see what happens?

shes not using you as shes told you straight what she wants. Shes told you shes married but in love with someone else and shes only after drink etc from you. If she was using you she wouldnt tell you. if youre falling for her then i think you should cut contact or not take it any further cause youll be theone who gets hurt and if her husband finds out theircould be all hell to pay. If youveno feelingstowards her in this sense then whats the harm in having a bit of fun. Shes been straight with you now its your turn to be straight with her and tell her what you want. If you tell her you have feelings for her but she still tells you shes just after a bit of fun and continues to ask you then she will be using you for her own satisfaction and not thinking of you at all.

Yes I have. But my advice to you is don't do it. What if things developed too far? How would you feel then? How would you feel if you were married and your partner was doing this behind your back? Don't cause yourself greif and heartache. If she has a bad marraige it is up toher to sort it out, not to have you as an escape from everyday life. You will meet a nice girl who is free and single and can devote her time and all her love to you and only you, and you will feel more complete then trying to be with someonne you cant have.

The possibility of being used by someone are always there in many forms and from different situations. The key is to be alert (though this may not be always easy) and try to detect any signs of 'abuse'. If you think she is using you as a form of escape, my advise is that you tread softly because you dont know what you may get yourself into.

With regards to your question,no i have never been used as i wouldnt allow myself to be but in your situation i really wouldnt meet this woman. Not yet at least.Carry on chatting as you are now and wait until you feel more sure of her intentions. Then decide whether you want to meet up or not.( By the way,im curious to know who it is)..lol

Stay well clear...shes married.

On a slightly different line.... I got used by a so called 'best friend' a few years ago.....so she could bed my husband!!!6 years on, he and I are still together but that friendship went straight out of the window and so did she!!

The question is do you want an affair of the heart? She has already told you that she is with someone, or do you want a freinship? I would advise to nip it in the bud befor it gets too complicated.

Leave it man. you don't want to be the reason for a broken marriage. That could entail a shed load of problems. Does she have children? if so are you prepared to be the nasty stepdad who destroyed their lives?

think about it.

Stay away from married people unless you are looking for three some.
Yes people will use you if you let them. Only give what you are willing to give and no one will use you.

She may be using you but she's being honest with you. Is there any harm in having a drink together?
