I always have trouble remembering references even though i remember the bulk of the scripture, but i'm looking for some specific verses that are God's obvious message to me of how much he loves me. I know obvious ones like john 3:16 and so one i'm looking for something a little deeper. Though a lot of people won't agree with it, I'm intersted in incorporating it into a tattoo that I'm working on, and think it would an awesome reminder and something really symbolic for me.

check out Joshua 1:9 if u dont know it already. It doesnt exactly talk about love specifically, but rather that God will be with u always. check it out!

Joh 13:34 -And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
Joh 15:9 - I love you just as the Father loves me; remain in my love.
If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love.
Joh 15:13 -The greatest love you can have for your friends is to give your life for them.(Jesus gave His)
Joh 16:27 - for the Father himself loves you. He loves you because you love me and have believed that I came from God.
I am amazed at these words. God loves us, ask Him and wait on Him. But tatoo, is it piercing and pain. Its good to love God , God's way. "Love the Lord ur God with all your heart, all your mind and all your strength". And if you want to show other symbolically, get baptized in water and ask for His Holy Spirit baptizm, just as Jesus said and did.
