God has given man the tools he needs to live in peace, the question should be, "will Man see those tools and use them?"

Its not entirely up to God to bring world peace.
God has given us the choice to live a good life according to the scriptures of the bible, the Torah, the noble Qu'ran, the Vedas or any other holy scriptures. Many of us choose to live a good life however we forget that often times, choices which seem like a good idea at first will only compromise you and others in the future.
That being said, its a double edged sword which can be in benefit or detriment of society. In turn, society having the choice to listen the message of God can have this very same effects.
Jesus said "love your neighbour" This context goes for the person sitting next to you on the bus, to the house across the street, the state you share borders with and countries aswell as planets and so on and so forth.
When we forsake one, we forsake more than an individual but also his background, beliefs and the people he relates with. Thats why we are suppose to live lie with an open mind free of judgement because it is God who judges and the way we live on earth will influence others surrounding us. By showing respect for life and to be forgiving to those who do us wrong will serve better justice than any bullet, whip or rope.
peace out
cheers

You need to try asking God yourself in prayer. If you aren't a believer then your prayers will not be heard. Only if you truly believe Jesus as your savior, who died on the cross for your sins, and ask him to come into your heart will your prayers be heard. The answer may not be what you think you need or when you need it, but God will answer all your prayers on his time table. You should read the Bible because most of the current day problems are talked about there already.

State of Emergency!
Sniper Kills Ten!
Troops on Rampage!
Whites go Looting!
Bomb Blasts School!
It is but the sound of man worshipping his maker.

Do you think the Muslims will ever quit killing each other, of course not. With a man like Mohammed as their guide, they will never be in peace!

Well, no.
For one, god probably doesn't exist. And two (and more importantly), "god" and his habit of creating conflict between people is why there isn't peace among the people of this planet to begin with.
Religion just creates barriers between people -- barriers they feel the need to defend with violence, if necessary (or if they just simply desire to... and religious people really seem to love violence).

Not until the return of Jesus Christ, when He will take His rightful Throne and establish His government from the new Jerusalem in the Kingdom of God on earth.........Then..every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!..........That's when there will be peace, no sooner.
