i went laser bowling the other day (i hate it, but it seems to be the only way to bowl these days)

and i noticed that under the black like the skin on my hads had weird white blotches all over. it coverd all of both my palms and on to the edges of the fingers and hands.....

i tried washing my hands... no dice.... i tried scratching it, and again, didnt help... the skin still had the white blotches.

since it is only on my hands, im hoping that i just held soemthing weird recently... but if thats the case, i dont get why it wouldnt wash or rub out... hmmm weird

so, do i have cancer? or am i so white that i glow under a black light?

Ive seen that with people that have psoriasis and with dry skin.. next time you go bowling, take some hand lotion with you and if it still shows up, see if it shows up after you use some lotion :)

my mom has a condition that causes her skin to lose pigment and the doctor used a black light to see how much of her body it covered. it started on her hands and it will become more and more visible in normal light over time. it is genetic and harmless. i forget what its called but black people get it too. i think i read somewhere that Michael Jackson has it and that is why he wears the bandanna over his face when he doesn't have makeup on. you should talk to your doctor if you are concerned but there's not much they will do if it is the same thing. they gave my mom expensive steroid cream to try and slow the emergence of it but it didn't seem to do much about it. she now has fully visible blotches on her hands and arms. oh... and her doctor said sunlight will speed it up too. so wear sunblock. good luck
