The chicken or the egg

The sex cell has existed since pretty nearly the dawn of time, and the first sex cells to mingle created the first complex life forms, which evolved into different life forms, so it is impossible that the chicken -- or human, or chimp, or zebra for that matter -- came before the egg. Ask any biologist.

Obviously, something had to evolve in order to become the chicken we now know today, right? So perhaps, the question shouldn't be "what came first, the chicken or the egg?" but rather, what evolved into that animal in order to make the chicken and did it give live birth or have eggs? And if it is a dino, what did the molecules that created the dinosaurs do to actually evolve into animals? that is why people fight over what came first. The chicken had to be alive to lay the egg, but the egg had to come from something to make the chicken.

Too difficult to actually think upon and yes, it can be argued over forever. Maybe, after we're all dead, someone will discover the answer and may already be evolved due to the global warming that's taking place...Who knows....

The egg.

The first "chicken" was a mutation from the proto-chicken. Mutations happen when the embryo is fertilized which happens before the chick is born. The embryo is in the egg before it hatches into the new species "chicken".

I think God made the chicken, and then the chicken made the eggs. I believe so since Adam and Eve were full size adults. Then the kids came. Then it went from there....

According to the bible, the chicken. Unless you translate the bible to say "and the chicken was without form, and ovoid!"

P.S. Ovoid means egg-shaped. Tee-hee
