That is exactly what I have been trying to figure out, and why are they sugar coating the word of God to try and make it more acceptable to others. Christians are supposed to tell people about God, go places just to tell people about God, seek out people to tell about God. I think ( and I will probably get a lot of bad votes for it, but sorry, I am not a people pleaser) that with so many always trying to come against Christians that they are somehow embarrassed or ashamed of being Christians. Or maybe they are scared that they won't be accepted by society for expressing what Christians are supposed to believe is the truth. Or maybe they are just bashful. Yes, I am a Christian and I'm sure someone will have something to say about being judgmental or whatever, but being I am only expressing my opinion that is ruled out because I am not speaking directly to or about anyone. There are alot of "Christians" out there who are not sharing salvation with anyone.

It would be great if it was because they finally got a clue that if someone wants to hear about Christ, they'll ask. It's not as if he is a well kept secret in our society. But unfortunately, I think the reality is that they got a little gunshy after all the scandals right before the midterms that took the wind out of their holier-than-thou superior morality attitudes. Don't get me wrong, I know many wonderful Christian people. But part of what makes them wonderful is their tolerance and understanding that not everyone believes as they do and their refusal to reject others because of that. The rest need to go have lunch together and leave us all alone.

Come on now, surely you can figure that out.How much do people in reality really know about Jesus enough to say more than he is God which he isn't he is the only begotten son of God.
Jesus said search the scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life but they are they that testify of me.That means they will be a light sitting on a table so all that are in the room might see.You have to walk the walk not talk the talk.

Afraid..? Of what? We don't care what "you people" think or say about Jesus, because we have him within our hearts and souls--of which "you people" will never understand or comprehend. "You all" keep going around and 'round in circles like a puppy chasing it's tail trying to figure it out like some mad scientist who gets stumped every time he thinks he's near an answer, it's really quite amusing. We have the answer--you don't, what is the answer? It's up to you to want to find the answer without all the bickering, assuming, accusing ect... pretensuous thought of mind. It's really quite simple. Just like the sadducees and pharasees--y'all keep going on and on without seeing or hearing the truth, even if it slapped you in the face.

Some of them have learned to respect other peoples decisions to not believe the same thing?
Or maybe they dont care to be associated with the Jesus Camp types, who seem to only be able to talk about the subject of Christ.

Because so many people nowadays have already heard about this Christ, don't recognize his influence in the behavior of many notorious "Christians", and are inclined to reject aggressive proselytizing.

True Christians are not afraid!........They proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world! Repent! Believe! The Kingdom of God is coming!!........That is just one of many things a true Christian does to fulfill their purpose on earth as a true saint and servant of God. You will not find too many of them because most people who profess to be Christians are fakes!! They haven't given up their life to live for God and do the work of God. They will not enter the Kingdom of God!!

it's not that they're "afraid" it's just that with all this tele-evangalisaztion, the commercialization of gospel music, the chrsitian books & CDs, etc.....people hear about God every single day. there's no need for door-to-door evangiliaztion anymore.
also, some christians would rather save themselves the trouble of hearing other people blaspheme against something or someone they regard as holy....cause that's what some people do when they're not interested in hearing about God

Say what? I wish some Christians would stop telling me about Christ. It is like a broken record anymore. The same old tired dogma repeated over and over and over.

Many are following christianity cause their parents followed. Only when you experience you can share, so they cant share. Even I was not able to share when I dint have any experience. Now God has poured His wonderful Holy Spirit who Jesus told He will send, and now I can share because I know the bible is 100% true and God is really there.
