Why would an ordered and logical universe such as ours create rational, sentient minds only to discard them as the body expires? This would seem illogical.

When I see pain on the faces of those who have had hard lives or have lost loved ones, and I know that they have not had the lives God has envisioned for them and I realize through my tears that this is the way I want to feel, even though it is harder and more depressing to be this way I would not trade it for anything because it is who God has made me.

An ordered and logical "God" did create us. Our bodies and brains do decay but this is our fallen form. When we die and if we belong to him, we are given a new body. The soul lives forever, whether in heaven or heal.
