She needs a healthy diet. Make sure she takes her prenatal vitamins, and is eating healthy foods. What ever she craves get it for her, make sure she doesn't eat to much junk food, or candy, it's OK, not to much of it. Not good for the baby at all. She needs to eat natural foods, cottage cheese, yogurts, Special K cereal w/fruit in it. Fruit's and salads, tell her if she doesn't want a sick baby and she wants to stay healthy and strong she needs to thinks about the baby, what is important for the baby. Make sure she doesn't drink any liquor, or around smokers, that kind of stuff makes you have a sick baby, w/many complications...I'm sure you know that, and to let her know how important it is to take naps and go to bed early because once the baby comes, no more good night sleeps, rest is important. Good luck...

Take your wife regularly to gynaecologist and under his advice give her vitamin and calcium pills prescribed.
Ask her to drink plenty of water. 3 - 4 times a week make her drink coconut water (it is said that the natural ingredients in the coconut water makes the skin of the child fair).
Ask her to keep her bowels clean.
After completion of 7 month, give her papaya. This will make the bones of the child healthy. DO NOT, repeat DO NOT give papaya prior to 7 month as this may cause miscarriage.
She should not have spicy food. Keep her as much happy as possible.
After the delivery, ask your wife to breast feed the child from both breasts. Not using one of the breasts may tend to form lumps (my daughter-in-law had similar problem and was operated upon to remove the lumps). Give the child vaccination (polio, small pox, ECG, etc.) under doctor's advice.
Leave everything to nature and.....see she has delivered the child normally and healthy.
BEST OF LUCK AND GOD BLESS

Good healthy meals--eggs, wheat bread, meats, veggies, fruits, salads, beef (good source of iron), chicken, some fish (watch on the tuna-for mercury content). Potaotes, rice, a basic normal healthy amount of the good foods. She needs to be on a prenatal vitami-to be taken with food. She can also have soup and crackers. Any further questions, please feel free to go with her to the ob/gyn and ask. Also, for exercise, walking is good. Up to 30 min. per day. Congrats! Take care.

That's really sweet. You sound like a good loving husband. Just remember to keep food in its simplest form. Fruit, veggies, meat, whole grains, etc. The more processed food becomes the worse it is for you. Variety also. You could prepare fresh veggies and leave them in the fridge for her to snack on.

Why are you feeding her? She is a grown woman I hope. Have her talk to her ob/gyn about what she should eat, but generally, she should just eat a balanced diet, not anything special. She also doesn't need to "eat for two".
