The IRS usually updates your refund status on Wednesday mornings for a Friday direct deposit date. So if you check back tomarrow, you should see an updated status---don't think it will be updated before 6AM though--at least it was not for me! Also, sometimes if you log on to the Where's My Refund page too much...LOL...then it seems like it goes to a default mode of acting like it has a problem accessing your info! That happened to me several times, so when I would check back later in the day or even the next day, I would get a "real" refund status again. Hope that helps! Hey, no question is stupid---I totally understood what you were saying!

If you e-filed on 2/20 you should have your refund by next Tuesday, 3/6. You need to wait at least 2 weeks (10 business days). You will have your refund deposited by then, maybe a couple of days earlier.

Alot of people are having problems recieving their refunds right now, if you filled later than the rest of us you might get yours back hopefully soon. I filled mine on 1/18/07 and nothing yet, call them.
