I like this guy who lives in my dorm, a floor above, and I'm not sure what I can do to maybe test what he thinks about me. He's in one of my classes and I also am going to a restaurant with him (and a group of people) on Thursday, and I'm planning on sitting next to him... so anything I could say or do to maybe find out if he likes me? Without me coming on too strong, I'm kind of shy.

you should asking to do you a big favour; i mean try to find out the day when he is busy , maybe his parents asked him to do something important , and that time you also ask him to go with you somewhere against his parents dutes. If he agrees to you he loves you , if he doesn't you will have to find another way.
