Why is it always the pretty girls who are converts to Islam?

I am a convert to Islam and all the women i have met who are also converts to Islam are all pretty , slim , intelligent, and i have also noticed the people who dont understand Islam are insecure, have issues, not attractive, i dont mean to be too harsh but there is a pattern here, it shows and proves that people hate because they have issues of their own, they are insecure and that effects theri life and thinking of others, the good looking people are always open minded, civilised, im not saying im the prettiest girl but i love Islam, Islam gives so much rights to women and respect that you just have to respect Islam and be glad you chose Islam as you faith, im by the way American and British, and ive seen many conveted people to Islam who are all sweet, good looking, open minded, its just a shame those ppl who are against Islam have issues over their looks, they like to sleep around and lose theri dignity and self respect, quite funny and sad really, awwwwww bless them people (lol).

I don't really think that you can say all good looking people are open minded because some are cocky and unbeleivably ignorant. I think its because of the love you have for Islam that you see everyone who has also converted as beautiful. Also if any of those people have any Arabic background then that may be a reason they are pretty because many Arab women are gorgeous. I love Islam as well and I agree with what you say to an extent.

Perhaps the "pretty" converts are seeking a refuge from toxic popular culture.But not all converts to Islam are pretty in a conventional way.Is that what matters anyway? Beauty is supposed to be subjective, so it is nice that you find all of the converts beautiful. Let me defend non-Muslims, because I can support Muslims, without being a believer. We are beautiful too, One of the few places acceptance of everyone can be found is among those who are so open-minded as to never subscribe to a belief system that is incompatible with their own.Many of us non-Muslims (like me) do not sleep around, are not insecure, have high self-respect, and open minds...and we are pretty too. My dad is Muslim but I am an atheist, and he is not in my life. I have self-respect, and I respect Muslims, but I think religious and non-religious people should take equal effort to be respectful, no matter what faith. People should not be too general with statements about outsiders, and I think everyone could be a little more positive. Often defense includes stereotyping, and thus follows the news, which is part of the problem, isn't it?

maybe where you're from they have rights, but why don't you go over to pakistan, or saudi arabia, and try being muslim there for a while. The women over there don't have rights.

i don't have anything against muslims, one of my best friends is muslim, and i agree with you that many americans are shallow, insecure, and don't respect their bodies. I'm a christian, and i don't flaunt my body, and i'm secure in the Lord. there are plenty of openminded, civilized muslims, jsut like there are plenty of openminded, civilized christians. There are also extremists in both groups, who are not openminded, and do not respect women (both groups). you just can't categorize by religion, or race, because people are so different no matter where you go, you can't make generalities in any direction.

Although I don't agree with your statement, it does remind me of something I saw in a book entitled, "Growing Up Catholic: An Infinitely Funny Guide for the Faithful, the Fallen, and Everyone In-Between" by Cavolina, Stone, Kelly, and Davis.

Growing Up Catholic describes the really reaaallllyyy good-looking priest as "Father What-A-Waste." LOL, funnee!!!

Oh, I'm not saying that pretty Muslim girls are a waste, no. It just reminded me, that's all.

its really how islam taught women how to carry themselves, its not really about pretty or not, but its just how as muslim women and girls we should be, manners etc.

actually all women r pretty.but islam gives them real respect and rights. so muslim women get self confidence, they trust theirselves.unfortunately today we muslims have some misunderstood that women r our slaves but this is wrong.
