I have multiple sclerosis as well and I have the same problem and my neuro told me I had restless leg syndrome which he said is also a condition us MS'ers can get. He put me on levocarb one tablet at bedtime. I was on neurontin but did not like the drug. I am finding some relieve with the levocarb. Hope this helps you.

My wife suffered from RLS for many years and no medication would help. In doing some research, I found somewhere that if you would put a bar of bath soap under your covers it would help. This was over a year ago, we sleep with a bar of soap every night, and she hasn't been bothered by RLS at all, since the first night we tried it.. Sounds goofy, and it might not work for everybody, but it does for us.. Try it tonight and see if it helps.

It's called RLS - restless leg syndrome and it's rather common.
Different things can cause RLS, but it's also a common side-effect for many SSRIs (a type of anti-depressant).
