Seriously, don't you have anything better to do? What does persecuting, baiting or insulting anyone get you? It creates an even more polerized, more hostile environment than exsited before you walked into the room or joined the conversation. Since when is more anger, hostility and mistrust something that you work TOWARDS? That isn't going to make someone listen any closer to your point of view.
And exactly how does persecuting Christians make you and others that do it any better than the Christians that some people say persecute THEM? Persecution, insults, or belittling by anyone against anyone is wrong.

Nothing... is it a requirement?
But check it out... Aren't they are all such outright liars about what they say they 'truly' believe? It isn't at all surprising to me that people pick on them for the beliefs they tout as truth.
I mean, "pull the other leg" ... How could man could live in the belly of a whale? What utter nonsense...!

POST SCRIPT to Paul: Get down off that fence, kid, and stop making up weak accommodations and dumb-*** excuses for a God that doesn't exist.
POST SCRIPT to jennette h: I can't agree with your final statement... "Persecution, insults, or belittling by anyone against anyone is wrong." In many cases, it can be an effective form of offering reason in the place of faulty belief. It can be an effective teacher for those who need it - and need it very badly. Laughing at nonsense and silliness is, after all, is an honest response to it's being, and fanning away what chronically stinks is a much more honest behavior than passively or tolerantly breathing foul air just to spare another his moments of deserved embarrassment.

I try to persecute Christians but its hard b/c thats what I am. I told my dad he was ridiculous in thinking that the Earth was only 7000 years old though yesterday. If God exists then He created science so the Earth being 4.5 billion years old is how long God allowed for the creation of our being; not that he couldn't of put us all here in the blink of an eye, but that would confuse our little heads so He gave us ways of understanding Him.

I am a Christian and no one persecutes me and gets away with it. This notion that Christians are persecuted is getting pretty old to me anyway. The Christians of today would, most of them (most likely), be stoned by the Christians of yesterday for some of the things that are going on in their churches. It is time for every devote Christian to go into the desert and pray.
