Kristy tell your mom to take you to your family doctor. Explain to him what you are experiencing-- it sounds like you are sleep walking with your nightmares. He will prescribe something to help you sleep and the dreams and the night walks should stop...

I think this is a type of "night terror." You probably do need to see a doctor to see if anything physically is wrong. Why don't you try looking up "night terrors" online and see if anything you find sounds similar to what you have been going through.
The typical night terror is something you usually remember though, but there are atypical types. You did not say how old you are and many of the diagnoses are written for adults. Even if you are in your mid teens your diagnosis and treatment could be different than it would be for an adult. But go ahead and look it up and see if it matches.
Are your parents understanding? Will they make an appointment for you and take you to the doctor? I hope so.
Good luck to you.

well, I'm not a doctor, so i can't tell you if it's a medical issue or not, but this could be effects of PTSD (Post Traumatic stress Disorder). That would only be the case if something has happened to you before (such as the love of your life leaving you, or someone leaving or threatening to leave) to trigger this. I've heard of PTSD effecting sleep, but not to the extreme of what you're going through. This is my best guess, you could try going to a doctor or a pshycologist to go through some sleep tests to find out... I hope this helps you

Hi Kristy,
You mentioned your sister telling you about it and you have no memory. I would talk to your parents about this. They can watch you the next couple of nights and take it from there. Dont worry if your embarassed about it sweety. Its no big deal and there is help for "sleep walkers". If this is happening to you its not the first time someone has heard of it. All you have to do is tell the right Docs.
God Bless you!!

some people tend to have more active dreams than others. if you have a history of talking in your sleep, your night terrors may be normal for you. they could manifest after more stressful days.
try turning off the TV an hour before sleep, eat an early dinner, drink non-caffeinated beverages before sleep, and find a way to relax.

Jerks everywhere ignore him. On to you. It sounds like a nightmare which you aren't awake for. Its a movie or something you have come across in your waking hours. Try not eating anything an hour before bed. See if this helps.

I would see a shrink. Seems like there's something 'stuck' in your mind that you can't express it in a concious state.
