Historically, our views of god and man have been reflections of our own image. Those who appeared different were murdered. But we only saw the outside, not the inside.

Today we know the insides are very similar, so we found another reason to kill: ideology. God's will, rather than his image.

In the future, the insides will become different, as more people are genetically enineered or mechanically and electronically enhanced. Then, new gods will be created, and many more people will be murdered.

I'm going to change the order a bit. I don't think anyone has been murdered by a question asked by a man with the name "AtThePub." God may or may not be a divine being that created all of the universe. Man is a poor little dope that may or may not believe that God is or is not a divine being. Man will also kill in name of said God, though man will be unsure if that contradicts the whole "Don't Kill" thing because he did so for God.

Speaking personally, I have not murdered anyone over this question, and I would guess "zero". I mean, how many people get murdered over questions on Yahoo! Answers? Seriously.
