If it was done in the Bible with miracles and other signs, why not today.

He wants you to have faith. He doesn't want to prove to you that He exists because then it wouldn't be faith. And miracles and signs still occur, they are just not as noticed.

Miracles are still happening today. I know of a guy named Mel Tari who walked on water. I know of a boy who had no thumb, and it grew out when a lady named Frances Hunter commanded it to grow in Jesus' name. I one time was going to have to get glasses, even the doctor said so, but I went to church to be prayed for instead and got healed, and here I am 15 years later and can see perfectly! Miracles still happen today, but here in America, people are just so bombarded with the teachings of evolution that not many people believe in miracles or in God. You have to have faith to work miracles in the name of Jesus. Because without faith it is impossible to please God.

It is done today. He has a Prophet on earth and has given many the power to do things that are miracles. One thing I guess you should know is that it depends upon the faith of the person receiving the healing gift as well as the faith of the one who gives the blessing. He will prove his divine power one of these days but at that time it will be to late for most to become clean.

. The Bible tells us that God has clearly revealed Himself in nature (Romans 1:20) and in the hearts of people (Ecclesiastes 3:11). The problem is that the human race is sinful; we all reject this knowledge of God and rebel against Him (Romans 1:21-23). Apart from God's grace, God would give us over to the sinful desires of our hearts, allowing us to discover how useless and miserable life is apart from Him. This He does for those who reject Him (Romans 1:24-32).
In reality, it is not that some people have not heard about God. Rather, the problem is that they have rejected what they have heard and what is readily seen in nature. Deuteronomy 4:29 proclaims, “But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.” This verse teaches an important principle: everyone who truly seeks after God will find Him. If a person truly desires to know God, God will make Himself known.

God's existence is evident. The reason that people reject him is not because they don't have proof. Rather, the reason people don't believe in God is because they refuse to accept the proof that God has given, namely His Word.

Then there would be no reason for us to be here. It's called polarity. You must first experience darkness before you can know what light is.

Perhaps god, in his old age and wisdom, doesn't want everyone to join his exclusive country club?
