What is the difference between the Western and Eastern approach to the Trinity?

In the Eastern Churches, the creed says the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father. In Western Churches, the creed says the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son.

The western approaches were all about sneaking up into the fjords and waiting for the convoys to steam by, then taking the biggest prize and sulking away quietly while the destroyers pounded the waters with their cursed ASDIC and wasserbomben!
