One day I was wandering around Myspace and found this profile that was so intelligent, so incredibly insightful and witty, I thought, "I have to have this guy!". It took me three days but I finally dropped him a message saying I enjoyed his blog, that was it. He asked me out, 2 months later it was love and not bullshit love, I mean I effing LOVE him. It's been a long while now, lots of things have happened since then, and over time I have become more and more certain that he is the awesomest guy I have ever known, that I love him truly and always will, and that I'm probably going to lie for the rest of my life about how we met, hahahaha!

I like to know something about the person I go out with before. Sites can help you with that. Its like speed dating you only end up with possibilities. You have to be ready for rejection. Myspace doesn't cost anything so there is no investment. Try it if you want. How ever it will never be as safe as going out on a blind date only doubling. You can separate if there is a spark or get together another time. I really like to see someone before I go out with them, maybe its a male thing. See for yourself you can search almost all sights to limit matches to only ones with pictures. I'm not a woman so I think you may get better advice about approaching guys weather on the Internet or in person.

I would rather meet someone offline. I like going to bars or meeting people through my friends. I have an Aunt that all she did was meet people on the internet and she took my cousins all over the United States with her to go to these guys and they beat the crap out of her and the girls. After hearing those stories from my cousins, I think very low of online dating.

i'm in one. i played a game called runescape for a long time and met her there. we started talking over msn messenger for awhile. we knew each other and were great friends for about 6 months when i finally asked her out. she said yes and we've been together for a little over a year now. it was pretty traditional how we met. i knew this girl for a while before i started a relationship with her. i wouldn't ever trust or try the dating websites. it's great though. it's been a really great experience for both of us. theres talk of meeting too :).

I would definetely prefer to meet someone through traditional ways. You never know who you might be talking to online and besides long distance hardly ever works.

i was so shy note I WAS soo so shy that my first girl i met her on the cyberspace can you beieve that i couldnt even talk to a girl in eprson so i found that way after a motnh i met her in person and we started goin out for liek about 1 and half year means is over that a long time ago of course and now wat im in my number 20 30 girl friends i had have so far :} yeah online datin is kool for me it was
