I'm interested in someone else and I want to pursue that guy? Or continue with my friend with benefits until I and the guy I'm interested wants to get serious?

Thoughts and suggestions?

I'm not using this guy until I get what I want. Sex is exercise you know and I like pleasing others lol

LOL some of you guys are silly! Well first of all I'm not living with him and second of all we're more friends than just the benefits. Don't judge if you don't know the situation fully.

I am not sure what the question is about benefits. If you are living together yes he/she should be on benefits, if you are landlord and tennant, it should not be this way. As for the other guy, end your relationship and tell him you care about him but its just not a point in your friendship that you want to take further at the moment. Throw him out and then date the other guy. But do not add him to your benefits, unless he is with you more than six months, he doesn't have to know this, only you have to know this but it protects you a bit and just say no, don't tell him of your benefits anyway, let him fend for himself until you decide if its serious or not. Think of yourslef first, then if you have time or love or whatever, think of him. Take care Heather

think you should tell your buddy w/ benefits about your interest in this other guy and tell him that if he shows you the return feelings you are gonna have to end your "sessions". Plus this way if something were to happen with this new guy you will be honest and not make yourself look like a "player"to us and "slut" to guys(go figure!) Good luck!

Questions like this show why friends with benefits is a bad idea.

I'm inclined to "Why give up a good thing until it stops being good?"

Of course, if you get serious with somebody else, then the friends-with-benefits thing won't be good any more.

You're asking us if you should continue to USE someone until you can get the guy you really want? I have just one question for you---would YOU want to be that person? Would you want to be used like that? If you say yes, you would love to be used by your friend and would still be friends after you get dumped - then continue with your plan...........think about it.... it is not nice

i say why not pursue.. you never know if this 'friend with benefits' is going to for sure want to have a higher title or continue into a serious relationship. you are technically free to do whatever you want. i say explore.

Wow* You're actually staying with someone(guy) cuz he has "benefits"* Hmmmmmmmm but you're going to persue another guy and when the time is right , you both click..then get serious* with him* WOW*
YOU DONT DESERVE ANYONE ...with a self centred attitude like that* Hope you never have someone do that to you*

'Why drop your current benefits when the new benefits haven't even started yet. I say keep it going until you are sure the new guy and you will hook up.

you are awesome...girls that do that friends with benefits thing are really cool...depending on how many people you have hooked up with...if you want to move on....move on....just end it with this friend and tell him that you are not feeling the hook ups anymore

if you want the pleasure...keep doing it with your friend...but if you don't care that much...it could really interfere if you find a new guy who you want a relationship with
