yes you can use the cleveland heads on a windsor motor. there's modifications that need to be done to make it work. there's step bolts that have to be used, machining of the steam holes and water passages to make it work. as far as intakes go theres a special yates intake that must be used to make it work properly. just make sure that you use 4V heads and not the 2V heads or your wasting your time. in the long run you will be better off putting a good set of after market heads on it. I have run this combination before and made good power, made even more by taking them off and putting on a good set of after market heads. its not worth the price of all the machine work or yates intake that you will have to use.

put the 302 4bbl heads on the 351 windsor. The engines were basicly the same in every way other than the intake and block width... Besides the two intakes wont match up. 302 had a 9" wide intake, the windsor had a 11" wide intake and if memory serves me the cleveland had an even wider intake thus its a different animal. Racers liked the cleveland because it was highly buildable and had somewhat a bullet proof lower end.

Did not the clev use a wide block so the heads are not interchangeable . I know you could put the 351 Windsor heads on some older 302 s but I'm pretty sure the clev and windsor head are not ok for the change you speak of.

When this mod is done, it is called a Clevor. Just do a search on Clevor intakes and you will find some hits.
