Then we would have a lot of gods and they would be a cause for us to fight amongst ourselves...oh...wait...um...yeah, I'll stop now.

I found the fact that there is a God hard to believe. But to answer your question then that would make all those who believe in God wrong. You never know though, their could be a god then again some nut job could of just sat down and wrote a book and made it a fiction book and some other nut job could of read it and said I got an idea for a cult......think about it.If there's stupid people now there had to been stupid back then.

There are some who regard God as infinite, unknowable, and far beyond the scope of human understanding. If that's the case, it would seem that many religions in their attempt to "know the unknowable" with the limited equipment of the human mind, are actually "designing" a limited God, one that fits their own needs.

You would end up with a big church creating a Jesus image on a big cloth done with paint and not saying it's real of false. And then others digging up some Jesus bones so we can get over it. I say let the relics fight it out, sell the churches and icons and feed the poor, and religious idiots as well.

They really messed up with him. In the Old Testament he's a wrathful smiter, but in the New Testament, he's not a bad dude. Only humans are that inconsistent. Having a son doesn't lighten you up THAT much.

That's impossible! Next you're going to claim "reducible simplicity", where you can break the "God" myth down into parts that can all be shown to have evolved from other religious beliefs (e.g., Egyptian and Babylonian creation myths, Adonis, Mithras, Janus, etc.).

Sweet Jesus, what if you're right? Shouldn't we, by Pascal's wager, just assume you're right since, hey, what's there to lose?

Then life has no meaning. There is no hope, no reward for doing "good" or "right". Cue the cheesey John Lennon sing-a-long.
