I jsut bought a puppy about a week ago. It has been sleeping for the last 3 days. I dont want to wake it up because I dont want it to bite me. i have noticed that a bad order has been comthing from the cornor of the room it is sleeping at. Can puppies pass gas while they are sleeping? And what can i do to make the smeel go away as long as it is still sleeping?

Have you taken the puppy to the vet yet? You should just for a new puppy check up, and to make sure it has all it's vaccines. Don't worry about getting bitten by waking up a puppy, I doubt it would bite you, and if it did it wouldn't hurt much. Puppy's do sleep a LOT, and yes they do get gas sometimes. Are you sure the smell is coming from inside the puppy and not outside? Has it had a bath recently? I would bathe it and clean up the area it sleeps in and then see if the smell is still there. If it is you need to go see a vet, a lot of times, foul odors are indicitave of illness and need to be addressed by a doctor. Start there and good luck. Hope your puppy is okay.
You do need to wake it up though and make sure it's breathing

You will not be bitten by waking your puppy. Just approach her careful, get down on your haunches, and gently touch her while speaking to her. She should go outside about every 2 hours so you need to make certain that she's OK. Take her to the vets as soon as you can to get a check up done.
