try bleach. That removes most stains very well.

You may be allergic to benzoyl peroxide.
Stop using the Pro Active and consult a doctor.

I think it'll take time, just give it a few more days and use alot of moisturize (not the proactive stuff). Maybe one with aloe vera to soothe it. Your skins just irritated.

If you want to to keep using proacitve you'll need to expiriment. With practise you might be able to get away with using the proactive only once a day or every other day (see what works) and use something more gentle in between. Or use the cleanser and switch to a more hydrating/gentle moisturuzer.

i had the exact same problem after i used proactiv. try to use some face peels, www.acne.org also has a HUDGE message board which was very helpfull to me.

face peels worked really well, stop using benzoil peroxide though because that just just makes red marks worse and worse. you may also want to try some vitamin e cream and put that on your face.

jojoba oil is also really well known for helping red marks fade

not sure about pro-active...but i just started using murad...and the same sorts of things were happening to me...so i cut back on using it twice a day to once a day...your face has to get used to all these new chemicals you r putting on it...so start with once a day and gradually increase to twice daily...

Could be a case of skin allergy. Try out liquid Benadryl. It'll make you a bit drowsy, but if it's allergy, it'll help.
