drinking alcohol involves tasting and swallowing it, often repeatedly.
rubbing alcohol involves using your hands to massage it into the body to disinfect or soothe.

there's a huge difference between the drinking alcohol and the one you use to sterilize...your drinking alcohol is always only a certain percentage of alcohol mixed with other liquid, while most rubbing alcohols have more that 80% of alcohol and less of water.. if you drink pure alcohol, you won't get high...you'll probably die...so leave the rubbing alcohol for rubbing only..

They're two different types of alcohol. Ethanol is for drinking. Rubbing alcohol is usually Isopropyl alcohol, related to propane. Sometimes rubbing alcohol contains significant amounts of ethanol, but when it is it is denatured, or "poisoned", usually with methanol. Bottom line - ethanol gets you drunk, isopropynol gets you blind.

Okay, BIG DIFFERENCE! Rubbing "isopropyl" alcohol, is wood alcohol, made of wood of course. Drinking alcohol is grain alcohol, made from fermented grain. Grain=food wood=not food. Wood alcohol can kill you-not lots of fun. Grain alcohol can of course, kill you also, but makes it more fun.
Remember, kids: your liver is plotting your untimely demise. it must be punished!

drinking alcohol is a type of ethenol and rubbing alcohol is bad and will make you go blind if you drink it.
