my boyfriend and i had been going out for a while, then all of a sudden he became very over protective. See, im one of those girls who would much rather hang out with a guy because most girls are backstabbing bitches. So, with that said my bestfriend is a guy, he has always been there for me and he is just totally awesome. so anyways back to the crazy boyfriend thing. so, out of no were he became completely over protective and he didnt want me hanging out with any of my guy friends ever and that may seem innocent enough but ohh trust me it wasnt. He was always always ALWAYS making a HUGE deal about it when i even tried to talk to one of my guy friends. It got to the point where i just couldnt take it anymore and i broke up with him.I had even tried to get him to talk to me about it so we could work things out but he would not listen to me Now, ever since we broke up he has been non-stop telling me how much he loves me and he is emailing me and IMing me constantly What should i do?HELP!

Boy, this is pretty easy. If you are serious, go to your local courthouse and file a restraining order against him. You should have enough sense to know that such a thing exists.
But if you're like most of the chicks out there who LOVE this kind of drama, you're probably filling us all with a bunch of BS.
Do something about it, take some action. Get the drama out of your life if you are serious. If you aren't, quit wasting time from real women like me asking for advice.

You need to tell someone whats going on, I fear that this guy will become abusive. A abusive relationship always starts out as being control, and not wanting you to hang out with anyone but himself. Also when you break up with this person they will do anything to get you back, like saying that he loves you or he'll kill himself if you don't come back. Most times this whole thing will result of the boy killing the girl, because he doesn't want anyone else have you. So I'm telling you PLEASE TELL SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP NOW!!!!!!!

P.S. I also don't think that getting a restraining order won't help, it will just provoke him to keep bothering you, which WILL result him to beat you. So not a good idea.

Been there, done that. My best friend (Natalie) is still a "Tom Boy", a real Janis Joplin: one of the boys who hates being called one of the boys (but She is). My Wife hated Her guts. I eventually had to tell Wendy to make a choice, either get over Her jealousy and insecurity, or get out of My life. That shook Her up. It worked. Try it and see what happens.

I guess there's a sense of insecurity. And sometimes guys can bo over manipulative u just cant take it. Just tell him that there just isnt any chemistry between u guys anymore.. that it wont work without trust. Good luck!

Tell him formally to stop, or you will get a restraining order. And if he still keeps contacting you. Get a restraining order. Then you don't have to worry about it, the police will handle the situation.

Tell him you'll call his mom/dad if he doesn't stop. Also, block him from email and IM. If that doesn't work, tell YOUR mom/dad.
