There is a huge difference. I dare say the two are mutually exclusive.
Spirituality is about introspection, contemplativeness, an awareness that reality exists outside your own ego. Religion is the opposite of all of that -- it's dogma. It's the opposite of spirituality.

Mostly everyone is born in a religion(like their parents would have followed some god/teaching), but when a person goes into a deeper knowledge of truth, it becomes spiritual.
But a thing to be aware here, is that, there is a God and anything other the world teaches is false. Search the true God, who knows about his creation, so that He can give the perfect peace and love the creation needs.
My parents were christians, but I cry to God only when I cant tell anybody and He always lifted me up to face each day normally. Its also really nice when we dont need to feel guilty of our sins/wrong doings. The only way to get that feeling is when we tell God to forgive us, cause Jesus told,
"They may look and look, yet not see; they may listen and listen, yet not understand. For if they did, they would turn to God, and he would forgive them.' "Mk 4:12
The forgiveness, love , grace, mercy, etc are felt spiritually and differences, hatred, criticism, anger when we think the others are different religion. Its better to know the true God than to look out for anything else.

Of course there is. You can be religious and spiritual, religious and not spiritual, not religious but spiritual. I think religious means you follow the dogma of the church (whatever the faith). While spiritual means you have some connection with a "higher power". This "higher power" can be many things, connection with other people, a belief in a creator, what-have-you. While people can be different in their religion, there is no difference in being spiritual. Spirituallity, if you could measure it, would be different degrees (more or less) between different people. I feel I have spirituallity but I am not religious.

Very different.
In general a religion is an organisation of people either sharing or purporting to share the same beliefs. The organisation sets and determines policy which the faithful are required to follow in order to remain in that religion. Where disagreements occur the religion may fracture and form sub-religions with broadly the same views with minor differences. This is why there are many Christian religions.
Spirituality is about being in touch with personal belief structures and the effect they have on your life.

Yes,
Religion is full of traditions of men and for the most parts are practices.
Spirituality is actually having a relationship with God and being free from the law most religions place and restrict believers to.

Where is it written that religion is the middle man between you and God?
Religion is dos and don'ts while spirituality is enlightenment of your own magnificence.

YES! YES! Most definitely. Religion has turned into something.... In my opinion it has completely lost it's purpose because people have twisted it into what they want it to be and what they feel is "right". I consider myself to be spiritual. I don't follow the teachings of man. I ask my God for knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. That is how I become closer to him. I don't need a church, preacher, or elaborate sermons for that.

Not only can you have spirituality with no religion, you can have religion with no spirituality. (which is a shame, religion being about forming a personal relationship with your Divinity, and spirituality being that personal relationship with Divinity.)

Spirituality is internal within us. The desire for God realization. The love for all around you. This is spirituality. Spirituality leads to God.
Religion is theory and steps designed to invoke spirituality.
