I am 20 years old and weigh about 97 lbs. and i'm short. I am skinny but no sooo much, and i've been going to the gym for the last 2 weeks every day because I want to tone my muscles; especially my arms. But I don't know what to do because now I weigh about 98 lbs and feel my arms are getting more fat instead of thin. I NEED to lose some fat around my arms and legs! does anyone know a good diet for that and for toning up faster?

gaining muscle will cause you gain weight, because muscle weighs more than fat. Limit your caloric intake to about 1600 a day, with a high amount of protein and less sugar / processed flour. Let your muscles rest a day before working out the same ones.

One problem I see is that you're lifting every day. You really shouldn't do that. You really need time to recover since this is the time your muscles grow. You should only be lifting a specific muscle group no more than twice a week, sometimes less. Likely you're overtraining.

Also, two weeks isn't much time to see results. Have patience, and with consistency and determination you'll see your goals. Work out smart as well as hard, focus on good adequate nutrition, and get plenty of rest. I suggest doing research of your own as there is a lot of information and misinformation out there. Find out what works for you and keep an open mind. If possible, get a personal trainer.

Good luck!

Muscle weighs more than fat. You are bulking up. Use lighter weights with more reps. Run. Drink lots of water.
