Absolutely. My fiance' and I are living proof. I live in Colorado and she lived in North Carolina. She now lives in Colorado with me. I started searching for my soulmate 1.5 years ago on SingleParentMeet.com. I met and talked to several ladies along the way. One particular woman really caught my interest first with her interesting profile then her faith, wit and charm. We talked, webcammed, emailed each other for 4 months before we decided to meet. To stay in contact we played lots of games on MSN Messenger and ZONE.COM. I already had a good idea that she was the one and she tells me she felt the same. When we met for the first time it was like we knew each other for decades and we were very comfortable together. Five months later we got engaged. We will marry in May on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. We are so much in love and we get along so well. I believe that using the internet to develop a relationship whether a friend or lover gives us a much wider variety. Yes the distance can be a barrier sometimes but where there is a will there is a WAY!

I don't see why not. I have met my fiance this way - we chatted online for a while and then started talking on the phone also - it was great because we got to know each other from the inside out (of course, it only works if the two people are completely honest- and that is the risk). We eventually met and definitely fell in love and have been happy ever since.

I think you can be in love with the way you think a person is, if you have never seen them.
I would have a hard time saying I love you to some one that I have never seen (except God) or touched. What about the way some one looks at you, or how that person hugs you, or kisses you?. I guess it's more physical for me. But, anything is possible.

no. why? because a relationship doesnt only feed from the mental stuff. you gotta be close to eachother to be able to feel that special spark. to know if there is chemestry. i have tons of friends that i have a lot in common with, but there is not special connection so they are just friends. same with the net. you can have great conversation with someone, but you cant tell if that person touches your heart.

Yes, you can get to know someone online. But the best way is to meet them in person to see if there's chemistry and attraction. But I've known many people who have met online, fallen in love and got married.

It happens everyday. It happened to me. Then when we met in person we knew we were meant to be together. The way you meet somebody isn't as important as the fact that you were blessed to meet them.

Only if there is a good chance that they can physically be together. If not, it's kind of thoughtless to even start anything.

sure, as long as it happens over the course of several months, and provided they are willing to wait a while to be together.
