1 Cup of coffee a day is not bad for you. However, if you drink lets say up to 6-7 a day then this can be come a problem. The problem is 2 fold. 1. Coffee in large quantities acts as a diuretic, this means you pee more and become dehydrated. 2. The caffene in coffie can also creat Tachycardia (fast heart beat) and palpatations.

coffee is a socially accepted abusive drug with caffine as the main culprit. it basically stimulates the sympathetic nervous system and hence give you a highly alert and a stressed state. though your perfomance might improve as a result of rush of energy you are actualy squezing the energy out of you and end up in a stressed and exhausted state damaging your body gradually.
