Dont u think there is something that can distinguish between good honest ppl and dishonest ppl, its seems to strange to think everyone will end up the same after some ppl have lived a honest life and to those who lived dishonest life by taking short cuts in life i.e fraud, stealing, etc and having a good life whereas honest ppl work hard, care for others and still end up same as the dishonest ones, there has to be something which can judge u in the after life, by the way i read this stat and said 97%of ppl who do race crimes, rape, are Atheists, thats all i can say.

Why is it strange to you that there is no reward/punishment system after death? When we die, it will be just like it was before we were born. Death is the great equalizer, good or bad, we're all ending up in oblivion.

Also, the statistic that you mentioned is completely wrong, which means that you most likely made it up, or read it in a religious publication. If you would do some actual research, you will find that about 98% of the prison population in the US are religious people (christian being the highest at about 68%, and the rest of the major denominations filling out the rest), and that athiests make up less than 1% of all the people in prison.

You cease to be aware when the brain ceases to function. The body shuts down. You begin to decompose/to rot away. The bonesm being a different composition to the flesh, last a whole lot longer.
No more than that.

There is no second life waiting for you so make the best that you can of this one chance.

I am an atheist. I don't know what will happen when I die. You see, I've never been dead before, so it is understandable that I would have no knowledge of what it would be like being dead.

I imagine I will be cremated and my ashes spread somewhere. I doubt I will be able to feel anything, since neurons and brain activity usually cease when someone is dead.

We believe that it doesn't matter. That life is to be lived then, this one is to be lived now. Most of us think there is reincarnation of sorts and you can take a break in a place of rest and calm. There is no final destination and there is no different place for the good or bad. Everyone tries their best and their best is a little better next time.

I'll be honest with you, I don't know. But, I really not interested. I'm not dead. Physical, yeah, body decays. But what happens to mind and, if there, soul will be is unknown and will be until we die. For now, I'm more concerned with life, for that is where I‘m at.

Roughly: algor mortis, rigor mortis, livor mortis (NOT "liver mortis", you quack), and decomposition including: putrefaction, black putrefaction, butyric fermentation, dry decay, then a general continuation of decay or fossilization, depending on the environmental conditions of the corpse.
