She's trying to get you to go to church and become Christian. If you want to learn more about her religion, great, go. But it looks like she's treating you more as a project than a friend. Ask her to do something not Christian--will she say yes to that? And try to make some other friends, too.

So, you don't want to go because? You might have to have fun while with Christians? You already have one Christian friend and, as far as I can see, it hasn't corrupted you yet so I don't see how having more Christian friends will make you a worse (or better) person. Why don't you just quit worrying about it and go and have fun. Maybe it will help you to see that Christians aren't the nuts and fanatics that people on this site would like to paint them to be.

yes. i have attended church services in the states and Budhhist and Hindu temples in Asia many times as part of my "education"
Never hurts to see the other side. It's only religious people who refuse to do that.

That's up to you. Look on it as an opportunity to open up to her and her friends about your atheist world view. Let them see that we are not immoral or evil. You can never have too many friends, but I try to limit my religious ones.

Your friend obviously cares a lot about you. She is thinking of your eternal life (whether you believe it or not) and is trying to help you. Be more open-minded, and give it a shot.
This is coming from a 17 year old Christian, so it is obvious I would say this, but just think about what I said.

Depends on if you want more christian friends, I guess. If you go, you're going to have to participate in everything they do, including prayer and any kind of bible study they may have. If you want to go, then go.

No. They're hoping to brainwash you into worshiping a God who drowns and slaughters people, and commands his followers to torture and kill others. Is that the kind of thing that you consider admirable? Beware of people who think barbecuing one's children is evidence of "love".

It's up to you; she invited you, so why not? If you don't like it, you don't have to go back.
