Why do most people...............?

take medication and all sorts of pills for their health problems, rather than taking natural products to prevent the diseases all together?

Alot of times it's just because it's an easy availible 'solution'. They think by taking a pill or six every day they don't need to eat well or take care of themselves in anyway.

People trust in what their doctor says, and they always prescribe medication (probably because they get paid to do so). But with medication prices rising maybe more people will start to look for a natural alternative. I'm sure alot of people question whether natural remedies can be as effective as high priced medicines, perhaps the thing holding many people back from natural cures is whether or not they'll really work and not wanting to experiment with their health.

Kudos to Jygo-my mom became a naturopath (not so much a pschopath) and I'm not a health freak or a nutrition-bar yuppie, but reading many of her medical and natural health books have made me realize that I didn't need the meds I was taking for heartburn, blood sugar, all that noise. I jusr started eating healthier and excersizing when I can find the time between work and my daughter haha, and I feel much better than being bloaty, heartburny, and constant headaches and icky stomach from eating the "easy" junk food and not excersizing. it made me realize also that being skinny did not=being healthy!

They don't believe that natural product can fix the problem and are afraid of using something that hasn't be approved by the FDA.

Plus natural products aren't regulated and concentrations can be "off" from product to product.
