You are talking about types of bread, and not bread dough, right?

When I make "pizza bread," I use day-old (or older) French, Italian, or Vienna bread. I like the bread a little dry, so it will soak up the pizza sauce. After you bake it, the outside is nice and crusty/crunchy and the middle is almost like a bread pudding, which is the way I like it. One loaf will feed a whole family.

I don't care for the hole in a bagel, and English muffins are okay, but not my favorite.

Indian Naan bread makes a great crust. I also cook the pizza directly on the oven rack and it comes out similar to a thin crust brick oven style pizza. (which is my personal preference!)

try using english muffins they are my favorite. these make minautre pizzas. you can also you bagels. my husband enjoys pizza when i use french bread. but the trick is to spread a little butter and bake for a few minutes then take it out, add your toppings and sauce and put it back in. This makes it a little crispier. you can also you refrigerated pizza dough from pillsbury or try the boxed ones from kraft and jiffy!! but my all time favorite are the english muffins. my mom made these when we were little. they are perfect in size!! the english muffins come in a variety of flavors like sourdough or herb. my husband even likes them and he is not a fan of english muffins!! my five year old nephew eats 4 of them and he is a pickey eater!!

Pizza is essentially a flat bread so I don't understand your question. If you mean flour, I like all purpose. It has the right balance of gluten in my estimation.

My son and I use Boboli pizza crusts. I buy the two pack of the smaller ones and all the toppings and we get to make our own pizzas. They are delicious and the crust is really good.
