Put your mouse way down to the bottom of the screen and see if the cursor turns into a double sided arrow. Left click and hold the mouse. Then drag the mouse up. Now if the taskbar is set to auto hide, then just right click on a blank area of the taskbar and select properties. From there you can un-check the Auto Hide option. Then click apply and then OK to save the changes.

I don't quite understand your question. If you mean when you click Start, the menus display, you either click one of the programs to open it, or click on an empty spot on the desktop to make it disappear.

it's probably on autohide. just move your mouse on the bottom of the screen so the taskbar comes back. right click, choose properties, and then uncheck the autohide taskbar box.

if your icons and whole desktop are gone pres ctrl alt delete new task and type explorer. if you just moved it down click and drag to make it show again.
