im sure there is..but the best diet is the diet you come up with yourself..research health and dieting, and healthy eating in general...you will learn so much about your body and what a person needs daily. you need to find out what your calorie intake per day should be, depending on your activity level. follow the food pyramid, dont undereat, and if you are looking to lose weight, make sure your workout burns more calories than you intake in a day. most diets don't work for EVERYONE..

Well, there's a rough guideline.

5 or more servings of fruit and vegetables daily
2 to 3 servings of lean meat, beans, or other protein
2 to 3 servings of whole grain bread, pasta, cereal, or other high fiber carbohydrates.
When fats are used, go with olive oil or avocado oil over butter or margarine.
Sweets in moderation. Maybe a square of chocolate, once a day.
If you drink, drink red wine. But only a glass per day.
Never eat anything with hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrup. They're just bad news.

If you add about 10,000 steps per day, and keep the calorie count between 1300 and 1500 (never go below 1200, or you'll destroy your metabolism), you lose weight. Around 1800 to 2200 calories per day, and you stay the same weight. (depending of course on your own metabolic rate and activity level.)

The principles of a healthy balanced lifestyle are very simple. It's putting them into practice that's so difficult.

Nutrisystem and any of those types, give you the meals breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, etc. Those are portion controlled basically, to help you to control caloriesl. But, here's a diet. Eat 1000 calories a day, mostly vegetables with little sugar and fat, try to get your fat intake to 15g a day. Eat lots of veggies and lean protein. Then exercise every day.
