With all due respect:

Why would someone in Heaven want you for a neighbor?

Dear "wd" - everyone in Heaven would have the faith you are talking about. To be a good neighbor it seems you would have to have actually learned something from Jesus exact quotes in the Bible, and you would need to learn something from the Good (harmony-loving) Atheists on this chat group.

dear mom - yes I asked this question once before, and you were the only one to answer the question. The Church Christians seemed afraid to answer. This time I specifically invited everyone.

I have empathy for my fellow mankind. If heaven is just. The person who see the suffering of a stranger stops and helps him. Even when others are walking by. Kinda like the good Samaritan story in the bible or Jesus standing up for the prostitute. It is easy to stand up for your own people. If this is not part of getting in to heaven then the hell with heaven.

a story...... that i sure i will mess up. This was told by the Jews after ww2, They came for the people upstairs. They were not our people so we did not help them. They came for the people downstairs. They were not our people so we did not help them. They came for the people across from us. We did not help them they were our distant family. They came for us. There was no one left to help us.

I feel this is a lesson we have failed to learn. :(

Well there is the argument of, is there a Kingdom, does Heaven actually exist. I saying "Atheists and all religions" I belief you include Agnostics so here's my two cents. It is possible that there is a Heaven, if so then it is most likely filled with people that have done good in there lives, saved more than sinned but have not fooled themselves with thinking they never sinned. Also it is possible that Heaven is just a stepping stone back into the realm of Earth. Who is to say that people do not pass to Heaven for there souls to be cleansed and then they are sent back down to Earth.

I personally do not know there is a Heaven so until I have reached it I will be slightly skeptical. The one thing I know for certain whoever is that in all faiths Heaven is a place of peace and bliss for human kind after Earth. If the religions prove to be right then I hope that Heaven is accepting as most...but not all...religions preach it to be.

We are not really interested in Heaven. We are more concerned about what we can do to improve this world with real deeds, not imaginary ones.
We want people to stop looking at the Heavens and start looking at what's around them here.
We want to combat ignorance and enlighten people about reality, not dreams. Facts, not fiction.
When everybody in this world abandons imaginary tales and gods, we all will think alike and there will be peace. Religion will no longer separate us and make us hate each other.

I have heard that I won't go to heaven if I do not believe in God. Other than that, I would be a perfect candidate for heaven. But since I'm not going to this make-believe castle in the sky, I don't really care. Why did you ask Atheists? We don't believe in heaven...

Heaven? What are you talking about? My neighbors on earth don't want me for a neighbor. If I didn't feed my dog he might even have reservations about me.The wife is okay as long as I stay away from the chocolate stash.

FAITH is the "currency" of heaven. It is what gets you there, it is what is considered of value there. Heaven looks for people of Faith. Not random faith - not faith just in anything or anyone - but Faith that believes what God says. And God clearly says:
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16. Pretty simple, huh!

I can cook much better then Jayelle and sometimes I'll water your garden a little bit in the morning. Just to say, "thank you white Jesus for making all this crazy non-christian sh*t possible."

There will be no such thing as "bad" in heaven. All things will be great, perfect, better than we could ever ask for. The word "problem" doesn't exist in heaven.

You've asked this before. I hope they don't want me. If all those horrid people who are constantly screaming at everyone that they are going to hell are going to be in heaven, I'll take Hell.
