To give a tip means...
To
Insure
Prompt
Service
You are not required to tip them and they may not be allowed to accept a tip.
My advice would be to call the company and ask what their policy is on tipping and from there determine whether to tip AFTER the job is completed as sometimes they can really bang up the furniture.
Good question though. Most people don't really care about tipping these days.

If the stuff is heavy and/or has to be carried up stairs, and the delivery people do a good job, a tip is appropriate so long as you can afford it. For what you're describing, $5 each per person should be enough. The guys/girls carrying the stuff probably don't see any of that $80 fee if they are employees.

Yes, it is customary for you to tip the delivery guys. They are working hard and don't get paid much. The delivery fee is for the cost of the delivery truck and gas. The moving guys' wage is factored in too, but they don't get the delivery fee.

No I don't think so (but I'm Australian and we don't really tip anyway). I mean your paying $80 for crying out loud. The company should be paying the delivery guys using that money anyway. Maybe offer them a drink, or a snack but thats it

Of course you tip! You may have paid the delivery fee, but it's polite and appropriate to tip the hired help that are on the low end of the paycheck.. Please tell me that you tip the pizza delivery, person, servers in restaurants, grocers bag boys, car wash attendants, gas pump jockeys, etc....... I think that it's a no brainer!

You should tip anyone providing you a service. except for say you go to a hair salon and the person doing your hair is the owner. They are getting paid anyway.

No.
They get paid a salary and it is not customary to tip delivery people.

Not normally but what is customary. Treat them to a nice tall beverage and perhaps a few finger sandwiches.
